The foundation for good leadership is established in your morning routine. Since leadership is a process, it doesn't magically appear in someone's life one day. Your quality of leadership is determined by the decisions you make each day. You must invest in continuous effort if you want to become a good leader. When one makes daily improvements, one develops into a good leader. A leader cannot lead without daily learning, it is a process and there are no shortcuts when making a good leader.[1]
On May 04, 2019, Masidtalak class of 2023 took an oath to the Philippine National Police Academy to leave their civilian life and accept the calling of being one of the future leaders of the Philippine National Police. Vigorous and strenuous activities are only some of the hardships they need to conquer to become a part of future leaders who will serve the nation's people. These challenges they face every day help them to mold themselves to become a refined individual. It requires perseverance to become a good leader. After conquering almost 4 years full of challenges and countless struggles of being a cadet. Here comes the Cadet Attachment Program, A program that is given to all graduating cadets of the Philippine National Police Academy, to test and evaluate the learnings they have acquired in almost 4 years of stay at the academy. Every cadet was immersed in different stations and different cities of the Philippines. It is time to compare and evaluate the learnings we acquired in the Academy compared to the happenings outside the Academy.
Therefore, a true leader does not come out of you overnight, it is a process to persevere. Struggles and hardships are only a tool to bring out the best in you, with these, will mold you to become the person you dreamt of, to become one of the future leaders that will serve and protect the people. Keep on dreaming and never quit, keep on dreaming until it is the time that you have waiting for so long.
