This day marks a momentous memory in the history of the nation, 8 years ago on the same day, 44 valiant policemen sacrificed their lives in exchange for the safety of the nation. These brave men served as an inspiration to the future leaders of the nation, selflessness, and love for the nation are the dominating traits that the brave soldiers portrayed in the battle they fought in the land of Mamasapano. They have portrayed strong dedication to accomplishing the main objective of the mission, despite the critical situation and a lot of drawbacks that the men encountered on their way to the mission but there is no room for fall back and yet they courageously fought the battle that is so impossible to win. The mission was successfully accomplished by its objectives but to think that it cause 44 valiant souls just to say that the government successfully eliminated a most wanted terrorist. It is not worth the loss of our faithful soldiers, these men also have their own families and loved ones, and it is very difficult for those who were left behind, in just a snap of time their loved ones were lost.
