Contrary to popular assumption, the prevalence of theft, murder, and other usually such crimes has increased often in a variety of very commercial establishments. It is particularly alarming because similar events have been committed even in broad daylight, however, the majority of them occur late at night, in order to solve this present problem and growing crime rates in the City of Digos, PLTCOL HAMLET MONTEJO LERIOS, Chief Of Police, Digos City Police Station, initiated the installation of CCTV cameras in every establishment in Digos City, which is centralized and monitored from time-to-time by the Digos City police station, which is supported by the local government of Digos City, releasing a memorandum that the establishment who will fail to comply will not be able to operate unless they will comply to the memorandum. This project led by PLTCOL HAMLET MONTEJO LERIOS was named Project S.I.G.H.T.E.D (Synchronized Imagery Gathering Hub for Timely Enforcement and Dispatching). With the availability of modern technologies, we need to adapt these changes and use them for the benefit of the community, when technologies are integrated into preventing crimes and keeping the peace and order, it is easier to enforce laws with the use of the new technologies.

Being a Chief of Police or a police officer, the leadership principle we learned in the span of our stay inside the Academy serves as the very foundation for being a police officer in the future, as a police officer that will lead his subordinates, you must be technically and tactically proficient, in a way that when a problem arises, you must know enough to come up with a concrete solution on that existing problem, a leader without a foundation of knowledge, is like a soldier without a bullet in a war, in that sense, learn to think on the wider aspect to have solutions for the existing problems within the local community.

As a leader, you must be decisive in taking action in the field. Decisiveness is a key trait for a successful leader. When a leader is decisive, they are able to make quick and effective decisions, even in high-pressure or uncertain situations. This trait can benefit an organization or team in many ways, including faster progress, improved communication, and increased confidence among team members.

In conclusion, decisiveness is an important trait for a leader to possess. When a leader is decisive, they can help their organization or team to move quickly and efficiently towards their goals, improve communication and collaboration, and increase confidence and trust among team members. However, a good leader will also be able to strike a balance between decisiveness and consideration for other viewpoints, in order to make the most effective decisions.
